Hong Kong artist and producer Holy Yam [ @yamholyx ] steps fully into his own world with ETERNAL ODES, a debut album built around atmosphere, experimentation, and world-building.

Holy Yam first started behind the scenes as a beatmaker, producing for Boys’ Choir [ @boyschoirboys ] before gradually developing his own work as an artist. The foundation for ETERNAL ODES began in 2023, followed by his first single, Eternal Odes: Prologue, in 2024. A year later, he released Sacred Blessing, an ambient instrumental tape that introduced more of the spacious and immersive sound that would eventually shape his debut.

Released in 2026, ETERNAL ODES brings that vision into a complete project. Entirely produced, arranged, and mixed by Holy Yam himself, the album moves through his own atmospheric soundscape while giving each featured artist space to exist within it. Loota [ @supadupaloo ] , N.O.L.Y [ @b.noly ] , Yung Raise [ @yung_raise ] , Lobo Slashemall [ @loboslashemall ] , and Takeem [ @yungtakeem ] appear across the project, connecting different voices and scenes without pulling the album away from Holy Yam’s distinct direction.

The world of ETERNAL ODES also goes beyond music. Holy Yam worked with designers ABOUT⋯ [ @about_dotdotdot ] and dullboy1992 [ @dullboy1992 ] on custom wardrobes, extending the album’s identity into fashion and visuals. Rather than treating these elements separately, everything feels like part of the same universe.

And the world is still developing. Holy Yam is already working toward his next experimental album, Act 2, currently planned for 2027.
