Taco [ @tryagaincultonly ] opens up on his most vulnerable album yet.

Built from four years of loneliness, attachment, withdrawal, and everything that comes with trying to keep moving forward, i miss u! captures a side of Taco rarely shown this directly. Before everything could completely fall apart, he took those emotions to the microphone turning some of his most difficult moments into music.

It's an emotional and intentionally selfish record. Rather than trying to speak for anyone else, Taco puts his own heart at the center of it, documenting the fear of being alone, the pain of missing people, and the strange reality of still choosing to love and stay grateful through it all.

The album is once again shaped largely alongside his circle of Chinese producers. Producers ashywya [ @ashywya ] and mikey [ @mikeymikeymikeymikeyy ] incorporate samples from solo tracks by Mandarin-language female artists including Cheer Chen, Faye Wong, Leah Dou, and more, bringing another layer of warmth to the album and complementing its deeply personal tone. Their production acts as a magnifying glass for the emotions behind Taco's voice.

Along the way, Chinglish [ @chinglish9 ] Losty [ @lost.yi ], Lan [ @haotinglanlan ] Hoozie [ @hoozie4_ ] 南部犯罪分子 [ @tietieiii ] and more step into Taco's world, each bringing their own presence to an album that remains deeply personal at its core.

Beneath everything is something simple: a genuine love for music, made between friends without trying to make it feel bigger or more polished than it needs to be.

As Taco puts it, he hopes his voice can always stay somewhere around you, "like a warm current."
